Centro Comercial Managua (Colonia Centroaméricana e/Colegio Salvador Mendieta, Managua) – this shopping center was built a year alter the big earthquake in this country (1972), attracting over 200 mostly local and regional retailers.

Multicentro Las Americas (Semaforos de Villa Progreso 1 cuadra al Oeste, Managua) – this shopping center has around 147 retailers (competing with Galerias Santo Domingo and Metrocentro for the same upper & middle income consumers). This has become a favorite among families with small children.

Metrocentro (Paseo de la Unión Europea, Managua, Managua) – this is part of a chain of shopping malls located throughout Central America. The Managua branch of this mall chain has 120 retailers, a food court, a supermarket, and a movie theater. Adjacent to this mall is the upscale InterContinental Hotel.
